For IRL perspective: imagine driving a car and noticing the traffic lines at the road, it's slower but change into seeing a car being driven into the highway, you'll notice that the traffic. at first tencent would split tournaments so that roughly half the matches were tpp and roughly half were fpp. I never encountered other players after deploying the bug. It’s much better for close quarters combat too because people can’t lay in grass or peak. For TPP, going prone towards the end of the game can be helpful.
